Pech Merle Cave participates in GetYourGuide’s affiliate program. When you book an excursion after clicking on a link or widget on this site, I may earn a commission. You pay the same amount as if you had gone directly to GetYourGuide.
How it works
The booking links and availability widgets on this site lead to GetYourGuide, an online travel agency, with a partner ID that lets them know you came from here. If you book, GetYourGuide shares a portion of what the operator pays them with me. This portion comes from their margin, not added to your bill. Booking, payment, confirmation, and customer service are entirely handled by GetYourGuide; I don’t see your name or details.
How this affects what I write
As little as possible, and here’s how I stick to that. I don’t take any commission on tickets booked through the official ticketing site, yet I still direct you there as soon as you have a car. I point out which tours don’t include the cave, even if it makes people hesitate. I don’t display ratings for activities that have no published reviews. And I have no commercial ties with the operators themselves: the commission comes from GetYourGuide, regardless of the product booked, which removes any incentive for me to favour one over another.
